Who is Ms. Maya?
Ms. Maya is the teacher character who guides every lesson. She is not a real person. Every lesson script, practice template, mock paper, reading passage and library book was written by our team. The optional Ask Ms. Maya helper is an AI (Google Gemini, reached through our own server) that gives short, child-safe hints; like any AI it can make mistakes. Lessons are narrated by a computer-generated voice (text-to-speech) so children can listen as pictures move on screen. The voice is not a real person. Answer checking, read-aloud listening and writing feedback are automatic and can make mistakes, so please look over your child’s work.

All stories, passages, non-fiction books, word problems, practice papers and lessons are original, © 2026 S.E.A. Space Academy. Classic tales in the library (Aesop’s fables, Anansi folk tales, the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen and Rudyard Kipling’s Just So Stories) are public-domain works, retold in our own words. We do not use S.E.A. past papers.
The offline spelling dictionary is derived from SCOWL (Spell Checker Oriented Word Lists) by Kevin Atkinson and contributors, used under its permissive licence.
